Ausgrown is based in Griffith, right at the heart of The Riverina citrus growing region of NSW. The families that comprise Ausgrown have a combined farming experience of over 100 years and combined citrus production area of over 900 acres. Citrus growing is in our blood and our team of dedicated growers and bottlers are very proud of our products. Below is some more detailed information on the Ausgrown team.

Barty Brighenti

With  orange groves in the Lake Wyangan and Myall Park Range areas near Griffith, my family has been growing , packing and exporting our Riverina grown  fruit  locally and to the world for 4 generations, and now are able to offer fresh juices from our fruit to those that demand a great tasting quality local product .

Frank Battistel

Director

Frank with his trusted companion Shelley. Frank is a second generation citrus farmer whose  passion is to produce the best quality fruit so we can make the cleanest, freshest  and the best tasting juice for you to enjoy. Our orchards  operate under the strictest environmental practices,  including some of the latest monitoring systems available to limit excessive water,  fertilizer and chemical usage.

Johanna Brighenti-Barnard

A fourth generation citrus grower, Johanna along with her brother Bart pictured above have orange juice in their blood (pardon the pun)!  For over 100 years their family has been in the citrus game. Their great grandfather planted his first orange tree back in 1914 in the Riverina.  Growing Blood Oranges is a tribute to their Italian heritage for the Brighentis and being of the first and largest growers of blood oranges they're keen to make it available for all to enjoy the unique taste and health benefits it has to offer.  Johanna's passion has been to sell fresh oranges in her family business and now she would like to bottle it for all to enjoy!
